My Mummy’s Back!

I was sooooooooo happy to go to the Singapore Changi Airport to welcome my Mummy back home.

Here is the beautiful Singapore Changi Airport

Here is the lounge where you can watch sports channels while waiting to board the plane.

Many shops!

Mummy’s favourite hang out place before she boards the plane. A book store.

Well, she didn get ANYTHING FOR me… but its alright, i checked her suitcase, and she did not get anything for herself too. She barely has the time to do any shopping and it was the SALES period! Can you imagine how frustrating it was?

So anyway, Mummy went to a city where there are many dogs! Mummy saw two dachshunds during her 2 days there but did not manage to get their pictures. Urgh…

Dogs at the train station…

 Dogs on the streets….

Dogs going to the hotel…

Did you guess right where Mummy went? Yup, its PARIS

Mummy hates the flight there and TOTALLY hates the jet lag. This time, to make things worst. Mummy had a meeting to attend right after she touch down. She reached her hotel at 10am, attended a meeting at 10.30am. The meeting ended at 5pm and then theres a dinner event and that lasted till 12midnite. It was a crazy day.  Poor Mummy, the whole of PARIS went on sale and Mummy did not have the chance to even step into one boutique to do decent shopping. Most of the shops are open from 10am – 7pm. The only free time my Mum has got? 7pm onwards. *sad*

So Mummy took lots of pictures for my viewing pleasure.

Arc De Triumph

Mummy came here the first night for her Dinner. This place used to be an Abbey. I heard that the place is Beautiful

 Road to the Abbey

This building was part of a Church, but it was destroyed during the French Revolution. It is almost Summer in Paris and it is really bright even at 9pm. This picture was taken at ard 8pm.

On the 2nd day, Mummy went to a Factory Visit at Segre. It was about 2 hours ride in the train from Paris. So Mummy took the chance to power nap!

The place where Mummy had lunch for the 2nd day. It is a nice little cottage house just beisde of the Factory.

The Dining table. Can you spot the chef of the day? Mum isn’t really into French Cuisine but she says the food that day was very very delicious.

Fireplace

Caviar and some Fish liver thingy with Champagne. Mummy was told that these are good stuffs but she doesn’t enjoy it at all. She says it tasted funny. (Well mum, you can always packet some for me!)

On the last day, Mummy woke up earlier to go for a walk at the Jardin Des Tuileries . She loves to do this on the last day of her trip. The last time she came, it was so cold in the morning that she had to go to the Lourve Museum to hide.

This was a picture taken in April this year, during my mummy’s previous visit. Naked tree with no Leaves and the sky so gloomy

This time, the leaves and the sun are out! Can you tell the difference?

I love Ferris Wheel!

Musuem Lourve

There are many more pictures my Mummy took but i think they are not good enough to make it to my blog :p

Hope you guys enjoyed the Pictures!

Let me sign off with a picture of me at the Airport!

Chasing birds

It was a nice, laid back, chill afternoon…

I was taking an afternoon spin…

When something caught my attention…

Taking a closer look…

The culprits…

Just about to pounce on them until I was held back…

Maybe next time…

Daddy and Mummy got 2 new car stickers….They told me that the stickers were dedicated to me…

How true! =P

Second sticker on the side…it says “Meet Miss Reina”…hehe…Can you spot me?

I love the stickers!

Evil Red Box

Today, Mummy brought this strange looking red box with wheels into the room today.

Checking it out…

Evil, Evil, Evil

Whenever this red box is out, it just means ONE thing.

Mummy will be travelling. She needs to go for a business trip :(

Leaving this Sunday on a midnite flight and be back on Thursday morning.

Mummy is such a LAST MINUTE packer *shakes head* and you know what? She takes pride in it. SERIOUSLY?!?!?!

Have a safe trip Mummy, its gona be a longgggggg flight, so i wish you NO turbulence, yeah i know u hate that.

Mummy, if you gona leave me all alone here (well, not exactly coz Daddy will be around), kindly bring me something nice back alright?

Girls afternoon out

There was more oestrogen than anything else in the house today. I met up with five other female dogs; Gigi, Slurpee, Nachos, Murrey and Tang Tang.

Here’s Tang Tang, who shares the exact same birthday as me! 3rd March 2007! How cool is that?

We shared some nice afternoon “tea” in a bowl…

Hanging out with the BIGGER dawgs…Murrey on the left, Nachos on the right.

As usual, the hoomans were trying hard to get us together for a group picture.

5 and a half in the shot…

The sloppy bunch…(The hoomans failed. Gigi ran off)

And yes, I got my first mail in the post yesterday!

There was a toy and letter!

Hmmm…Let me see…

Thank you Luckie! What a pleasant surprise!

Family Reunion

Last Saturday, I visited my doggie daddy and mummy. It was certainly a night to remember!

Allow me first to give a short introduction about myself. I came from a litter of 4, belonging to Mao Mao, a red long haired dachshund and CoCo, a black and tan smooth coat dachshund. I was born in  Singapore and am eldest to three other sisters.

Here’s my daddy, Mao Mao! Isn’t he smart looking?

My mummy, Coco! I look so much like her! Daddy thinks that CoCo is a like crystal ball image of myself few years down the road.

It was Father’s day weekend. Happy Father’s day to my 2 daddys. =P

Sniffing, getting to know each other again before going around in circles. I wonder why we like to do that so much?

Playing with daddy…

Daddy and mummy tried their best to get a group picture of the three of us, but we were easily distracted and constantly moving about. These were about the best of the lot that they managed.

Reunited on the night.

Family reunion, family potrait!

We were missing our sisters though. Hopefully, we will be able to meet up during our next gathering.

Thank you mummy and daddy from bringing me into this wonderful world! and thanks for reading, my dear friends!

Have a nice day everyone =)

Bang Bang, my Mummy shot me down

Because of the rain, we spent most of the weekend at home. No worries though, there’re a lot of fun things to do at home too. Like hiding slippers, shredding newspapers, messing up the room and pissing mummy and daddy off… Okay, I was just kidding. =P

Bar the occassional accidents, Mummy and daddy thinks that I’ve been a good girl so far.

Mummy’s mum and grandma have been calling me “Orh Kim”, which translates in English to “Black Gold.” I suspect it’s got to do with some supersticious good omen thingy… and my coat…I’m not sure. Well, today I might have just showed them why.

Mahjong, also known as “dry swimming”….a great indoor game for everyone. Here’s me having a go at the game. =P

Here were my winning tiles. (We were playing a triangular 3 player game) Two full sets of flowers, Max 5 folds win. =D

They got me off the table after that…what bad losers. Bleah.

Anyway, Mummy and daddy have been teaching me a neat new trick.

The learning process.

The finished article.

Cooooollllll eh? =D

Tagged to share, 7 deadly secrets

I’ve been tagged by Nachos to share 7 things about me not mentioned in my blog.

1. I cry a lot because I’m more of a whiner than a weiner.

2. I eat a lot because I do not know how to stop.

3. I pee a lot because I enjoy flooding my yogi mat with urea.

4. I don’t shit a lot because I hate running around circles before the stuff come out.

5. I love getting my ears cleaned because I admit that its actually painless.

6. I hate getting my nails clipped because I refuse to admit that its actually painless.

7. I’m actually a rottweiler in disguise.

Hahaha! Caught you!

Happy Father’s Day

Dear Daddy!

 HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!

You’ve been a wonderful daddy, a great pillow to lie on and a great fun to play with!

Love you lots!

Me in Daddy’s arms

Oh! LUCKIE GIRL! Happy Bark Day!

You are ONE! *cheers*

Another great weekend (Part III)

If Spiderman and some pirates can come in threes, then so can I. Here is the third and final installment of my awesome weekend. =)

Mummy’s aunt got me my first tee! Daddy loves the pun.

Do I look snazzy??

On Sunday, we headed down to Vivo City for the Singapore Hot Dogs meet up. There must have been at least 20 dachshunds. All of different colors and sizes but still of the same shape. =P

Getting to know everyone…

From left, clockwise, meet Junie in pink (She looks like Lorenza!), Jamie, Sundae and Dachie

Sakura, Junie again and Didi

Joseph, the standard dachshund. He’s massive!

Lenny (left), the first wired dachshund I’ve met!

Here’s the very hip and hawaiian inspired Oscar.

I’m usually the smallest and youngest at most gatherings. Hah! Not this time!

Sakura’s puppies!

13 year old Jerry (notice the white hair?), my hangout buddy for the day. Relaxing at a corner and sharing with me a wealth load of experience. =P

Here’s me trying my best to walk Dachie =D

I had great fun at the gathering. Mummy got to meet Eil & she didn’t realise she is Girl girl’s Eil! How dare she not intro me to Eil! Both Luckie & I can agree that Sakura is a fiestygirl, we had our “momenst” with her! hehehe…

It was an awesome weekend going to so many places and meeting so many new friends. I sure hope they’ll be more of such weekends to come!

Made it to bed.
